Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has taken to social media to express concern with regards to the arrest of Nigerian senator, Ike Ekweremadu, and his wife, Beatrice Nwanneka, by the UK Police department, for allegedly bringing a child into the country to harvest the organ of such child.
Recall that former deputy Senate President of Nigeria, Ike Ekweremadu, and his wife, Beatrice Nwanneka, were earlier on, reported to be in the custody of the United Kingdom police department, following their alleged involvement in organ harvesting operations in the country.
According to the metropolitan police, the pair were charged to court on Thursday, following an investigation that led to their arrest by the police specialist crime team.
And so, following such allegation and arrest by the UK police, Nigerian controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, took to her official Twitter account to react, as announced that she is following the allegations of organ harvesting by the senator and his wife, in the United Kingdom, adding that Nigerians must hear the outcome of the court appearance first.
Kemi Olunloyo finally stated that as a medical professional that she is, she needs to know who is sick and needs the organ, what organ is involved and who is the donor of such organ.
