A female kindergarten teacher, Wang Yun, 39, has been executed for poisoning 25 children in China.
One of the poisoned children later died, according to reports.
Daily Mail reported on Friday that Yun was arrested and later sentenced to death after she poisoned the students from Mengmeng Pre-school Education ‘in revenge’ for a row she had with her fellow teacher, surnamed Sun in Jiaozuo four years ago.
Local authorities said that Yun poisoned her co-worker’s pupils with sodium nitrite after arguing with her.

In the Jiaozuo city intermediate people’s court, in Henan province, Yun appealed her death sentence in September 2020 but was denied.
The same court on Thursday escorted Yun to the execution ground and carried out the death sentence after her identity was verified.
On March 2019, Yun bought the chemical compound and added it to the sweet-flavoured rice-based porridge dish which is very popular in China.
Police launched an investigation after it was reported that 23 children began vomiting and fainting after eating their breakfast and Yun was accused and arrested for poisoning the students on March 27, 2019.
