The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Fans Club BATFC a group passionate about the re- election President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, has inaugurated Hon. Kehinde Joseph a Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Alimosho Constituency 2 as Patron for being a selfless, detribalized and people oriented lawmaker and party man.

The official inauguration which took place at the Assembly complex office of the lawmaker was supervised by the group’s convener and Deputy Director General Dr. Samson Bilesanmi, who cited instances of his selfless and unflinching commitment to the advancement of the All Progressives Congress across the state.

According to Dr. Bilesanmi he has the concurrence of BATFC’s Director General Alhaji (Hon.) A.M Buhari to bestow the group’s honorary award as ‘Patron’ on Hon. Kehinde Joseph couple with an impressive flex banner that symbolizes the lawmaker’s inclusion.

In his response to the honour done on him, Joseph appreciated the group’s gesture and also expressed his unique perception on the concept of empowerment and how he is doing it differently.

The lawmaker hinted that oftentimes when handouts and items are given to constituents as empowerment , it most times fails to address their real needs.

Hon. Joseph revealed that scores of indigent students in his constituency who never thought they could access tertiary education, benefitted from his fully funded scholarship in Aries Polytechnic Ibadan Oyo State.
Adding that their logistics to and from school were solely borne by him in a way to ensure their safety all through.

The height of his people focused empowerment was the ongoing construction of a Comprehensive Secondary School at Abaranje in the hinterland of Alimosho, the lawmaker hinted that the criminal tendencies spotted amongst youngsters within the age 11-15years bracket around Ikotun area, was the drive behind the move.

A project totally financed by Hon Joseph from the scratch, started since September 2025, with a six month completion target, he stressed that the youngsters who ought to be in school fell for hooliganism owing to the too distant location of schools to their area, so with the said facility offering both Junior and Senior Sencondary School education in Abaranje community, the gap will be adequately bridged.

“I get moved to tears when I visit the area as elderly women troupe out to welcome me laying their scarves for me to walk on as a mark of honour, one of them said for the past 38 years they have yearned for such a huge development in the area.

“They said their children have resorted to NURTW work due to the absence of good school in their neighbourhood.

“With this singular move, I have the plan to take at least 1000 youngsters off the streets and ensure a secured environment in my constituency.”

The BATFC delegation also included the group’s national ICT Director Amb. Dr . Adeyemo Adebayo, UN Amb. Charles Ajebori and Akindele Felicia Oluwatoyin South West Coordinator.
