Chelsea produced a dramatic second-half turnaround at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, scoring three goals in 35 minutes to secure a thrilling 3–2 victory over West Ham United in their Premier League clash.

João Pedro, Marc Cucurella and Enzo Fernández were all on target as the Blues overturned a two-goal deficit, keeping alive their push for a top-four finish while deepening West Ham’s relegation woes.

The hosts endured a torrid first half and looked well below par as West Ham raced into an early lead. Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring in the seventh minute, punishing Chelsea’s sluggish start, before Crysencio Summerville doubled the visitors’ advantage nine minutes before the break with a composed finish in the 36th minute.

Chelsea’s struggles in the opening 45 minutes prompted decisive action from manager Liam Rosenior at halftime. The coach made three substitutions, including the introduction of João Pedro and Marc Cucurella—two changes that would prove pivotal in shifting the momentum of the contest.

The revival began in the 57th minute when Pedro rose highest to head home a precise cross from Wesley Fofana, another of the halftime introductions. The goal injected belief into the Chelsea side and energized the home crowd.

Chelsea’s pressure finally paid off again in the 70th minute. Following a chaotic sequence of headers inside the six-yard box, Cucurella reacted quickest to nod the ball home and restore parity at 2–2.

From that point, West Ham were forced into a defensive posture, focusing on protecting a hard-earned point as Chelsea pressed relentlessly for a winner.

Their resistance eventually crumbled in stoppage time when Pedro delivered a perfectly weighted pass into the box for Enzo Fernández, who showed composure to steer the ball home from close range.

The decisive goal was particularly symbolic, coming on the three-year anniversary of Fernández’s signing for Chelsea, and capped a memorable comeback for the London club.

The victory lifts Chelsea to fourth place in the Premier League standings, at least temporarily, with 40 points from their campaign so far. West Ham, meanwhile, remain rooted in the relegation zone in 18th position with 20 points, as their struggles continue.

Chelsea will now turn their attention to upcoming fixtures, including a League Cup showdown against Arsenal, while West Ham face mounting pressure ahead of their next league outing as the fight for survival intensifies.
