Lekki Memorial: Reactions trail Mr. Macaroni throwback video as Sanwo-Olu affirm shooting (Video)
Renowned skitmaker and social media activist Adebowale Debo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni, reveals in a throwback interview that Lagos governor Baba Jide Sanwoolu confirmed attacks on protesters by Nigerian Army. In an interview with CNN, Gov. Babajide Sanwool pointed out that footage from the scene of the Lekki toll booth protest shows members of the Nigerian military sporadically firing into the air.
He also told the Host during the interview that a panel has been set up and promised that those involved would be adequately dealt with. However, 2 years after the massacre at Lekki Tollgate, Mr. Macaroni has pointed out that Justice is yet to be served. According to him, he said, “The Governor himself confirmed the shootings at the Lekki Tollgate. 2 Years Later, Still No Justice!”
