“There is a lot of temptation in the music industry. You will see a lot of things, but you are not meant to touch,” he said.
The singer admitted that he once assumed fame would come with a carefree lifestyle, especially with increased attention from women. However, his perspective changed as his career progressed.
“I used to think I would be with a lot of ladies because there are babes everywhere. But when you have about 100 girls talking to you, that is when you need to cultivate discipline,” he added.
Lojay stressed that maintaining focus and avoiding excesses is crucial for artists who want to build lasting careers, referencing the consistency of top figures in the industry.
He also challenged common stereotypes, noting that many successful artists are more disciplined than people assume, as they are mindful of their actions and public image.
The singer concluded that discipline both personal and professional remains a key factor in sustaining relevance in the highly competitive music scene.
