FC Barcelona striker Luis Suárez has made it to a ton of goals since joining the club after finding the net against Athletic in the Copa del Rey victory that saw the blaugranes through to the quarter-finals of the competition.
That’s quite some achievement for the winner of last season’s European Golden Shoe thanks to his 40 Liga goals, who has managed to reach that milestone in just two years and three months after making his first team debut on 25 October 1014. His first goal game six games later, in a Champions League fixture with APOEL on November 25 of the same year.
Suárez ended the 2014/15 season, which he started late due to the FIFA suspension, with an impressive haul of 25 goals in 43 games, a tally that he more than doubled last term with 59 goals in 53 games.
So far in the 2016/17 season, the Uruguayan international has hit the net 16 times in competitive matches for Barça.
