Mass protest of the continued detention of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, his injured wife, and other IMN members, by the Nigerian government resumes across the country on Friday, May 31, 2019.
The mass protest will be part of the international Quds Day rallies and protests which is scheduled to hold on Friday, May 31 across over 50 cities in Nigeria.
National Dailylearned that the activities identified as a day of the oppressed, is aimed at drawing attention to what the group remarked is a massive conspiracy against “the fraudulent deal of the century” of the United State (U.S) President, Donald Trump.
It was reiterated that the crucial demand of the protesters will be the release of the leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his injured wife who they said are in urgent need of further medical treatment.
They appealed to other members of the sect to raise the banner of “free Zakzaky” and highlight what they say are the heinous crimes and atrocities of the Saudi sponsored brutal Zaria attack on its members.
