It’s difficult to believe that there are still hundreds of tribes living in forests in today’s world, where humanity has evolved in technology and understanding. These people do not rely on technology in the same way that we do, and most have no knowledge that technology exists at all. Instead, they rely on nature, and they get along just fine.
Below are the four tribes which still live in the forest:
1. The Amazon Forest Tribe
Attempts to meet with them have been ineffective, so they have not been contacted yet.
There is very little information on this tribe, including what their names are and what their culture is like. As the chopper attempted to land, they threw arrows at it.
2. The Sentinelese Tribe
Outsiders are viewed as threats by the Sentinelese tribe. Foreigners who trespassed on their island were frequently shot with arrows by these people.
They live on an island in India that they have inhabited for thousands of years. Although this tribe has been contacted, nothing is known about them because they consider Westerners a threat.
3. The Papuans: Huli Wigmen
The Huli Wigmen tribe of Papua New Guinea is one of numerous isolated tribes in the world.
They have a large population of around 400,000 people.
They are famed for their extravagant clothes, which are worn by men who live in isolation from their tribe as part of their magnificent culture.
They have an annual Mount Hagen Festival where Papuans from various tribes regularly gather to celebrate.
4. The Old Believers
Unlike the other tribes, the Old Believers genuinely use technology to get by in their daily lives.
They live in Siberian settlement of Aidara. In 1652, they seceded from the Russian Orthodox Church after a dispute with some of their norms. Some of them were prosecuted, imprisoned, and even killed as a result of the conflict. The remaining individuals left and withdrew into seclusion, resulting in the development of a wonderful culture and tribe.
They are devout Christians who, despite the lack of a church in the hamlet, have services and pray together in the evenings.
