Italian club AS Roma has announced Jose Mourinho, as its new manager. The former Tottenham coach has signed until June 2024.
The club, on its official twitter handle, said: “The club are delighted to announce an agreement has been reached with Jose Mourinho for him to become our new head coach ahead of the 2021-22 season.
Tottenham have ruthlessly sacked Mourinho and his coaching staff following a poor run of form in the Premier League amid plans of the European Super League.

He lasted just 17 months with the 58-year-old in line to receive a whopping pay-out after his time at the club was cut short.
It’s claimed Mourinho will pocket a hefty £30 million after club chairman Daniel Levy decided to end his four-year Spurs contract.
The Portuguese manager was paid a combined £30.5 million for his two sackings at Chelsea.

And Real Madrid shelled out £17 million after relieving him of his duties while Manchester United forked out £15 million to replace him with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
So, Mourinho has received an astonishing £93.5 million for his sackings during his illustrious managerial career.
