The factory is believed to be located in Ghana and was uncovered by Bright Simons, a Ghanaian writer and social commentator. Photos of the factory show the dirty environment where the drinks are made before being poured into bottles labeled Coca-Cola. The photos of the factory has shocked Twitter users and led to a conversation about fake products in Africa.
