The continuous killing of Okuama people and raiding is a cause for alarm. President Bola Tinubu as Commander-In-Chief and his military have turned Okuama community in Ughelli South into a war zone.

Why is the Nigerian military using its strength to kill and destroy a remote community of Okuama? Why can’t the military use their strength to fight insurgency, banditry and Boko Haram in Northern Nigeria?

Why are the Nigerian military trigger happy to fight armless civilians in Okuama community? The show of strength by the military in wiping out a remote community of Okuama is condemnable.

It seems there is hidden agenda by the military and their alleged paymaster to completely wipe out Okuama community from existence. If not why all of these killings in a remote community?

Is that how the US, Russia and China use their military to fight armless civilians? The show of strength by the Nigerian military in killing of locals and destroying of Okuama community is a severe war crime.

Tinubu and his military should restrain selves from further killing of Okuama locals and destruction of the community that is trying to resettle into their destroyed homes.

Tinubu and his military should be held responsible for the killings of locals in Okuama. The military has said they knew the mastermind of the killing of soldiers in Okuama. Why can’t they go after those people rather than unrestrained killings of locals in Okuama?

Everytime we read in the news of banditry and Boko Haram insurgency killing soldiers and people in the Northern Nigeria and no show of any strength of the military. Is Tinubu comfortable that his military are killing armless and weak rural community dwellers in a show of strength?

Do we praise and commend Tinubu that the Nigerian military is capable and efficient when they kill civilians in Okuama? Do we praise and commend Tinubu and his military chiefs when the military arrested Prof Arthur Ekpokpo whose offence is the President-General of Ewu Clan?

Ekpokpo is a Professor of Physics in Delta State University Abraka and his clan executive members are languishing in military cells for no offence committed. What achievement if Tinubu and his military are intimidating and killing armless civilians?

Those gunrunners who are styled as ex-militants in the Niger-Delta are known to Tinubu and his military and they are well recognised. Tinubu also gives these gunrunners who call themselves ex-militants multi-billion naira surveillance contracts while his military are killing the weak people in Okuama community.

These so-called violent people and ex-militants are the richest in the Niger-Delta and they are being patronised while the weak people of Okuama in the Niger-Delta who have no access to sophisticated guns are being killed by the Nigerian military. Tinubu and his military know those violent and armed people in the Niger-Delta.

Tinubu and his military know those who are sponsoring banditry, herdsmen killings and Boko Haram insurgency in the Northern Nigeria. Tinubu and his military’s focus and might shouldn’t be on armless Okuama people.

The idea of killing the weak by the Nigerian military is a severe war crime. Gov Sheriff Oborevwori has closed his eyes again while the soldiers are killing Okuama locals. No word is coming from Gov Oborevwori on this recent killing and arrest of Okuama people.

Ese Gam Owe PG UPU is busy attending Urhobo conventions in UK and Americas while Okuama locals are being killed and arrested by the Nigerian military.

Tinubu should order his military chiefs to stop killing and arresting innocent Okuama people. The military should go after those criminals who were involved in killing of soldiers. Raiding Okuama and killing of Okuama locals should stop.

Why can’t they direct their military might to fight insurgency, banditry, Boko Haram and kidnapping rather than boasting that they will continue their military operations in Okuama town. Was the military set up to fight civilians?

From the video in circulation on social media the Nigerian military admitted they went to Okuama and was unable to justify the raid. This continuous raid and killing in Okuama people must stop.
