Nigerian football fans have expressed their approval of Victor Osimhen‘s transfer to Galatasaray Football Club in Turkey.
Despite the move from the more competitive Italian league, fans believe it is a positive step for the talented striker.
Femi Adefesoon, a sports broadcaster, highlighted that Galatasaray, while less competitive than Napoli, would offer Osimhen more playing time.
He emphasized that staying in Italy could have led to Osimhen being sidelined or forced to train with the junior team.
Kelechi Bernard, a sports journalist, agreed that the move was timely, considering the toxic situation Osimhen faced at Napoli.
He criticized Napoli’s excessive demands during negotiations with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
Emefieh Nkem, an avid Osimhen fan, noted a significant increase in his following on social media since joining Galatasaray.
