Gospel singer and minister, Nathaniel Bassey, has urged unmarried men and women not to ignore the red flags when considering marriage.
In a post on his Instagram page, the singer said the circumstances of the late gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu’s death are very annoying.
Bassey, in his post, said though marriage is good and honourable, it is not by force.
He said, “Death is inevitable, but we don’t pray for it before time. However, this one has been very annoying, hearing the circumstances surrounding the death of our sister. One Whose voice thundered and reverberated powerfully in worship.
“Marriage is good and honourable. But also not by force. To those about to marry, shine your eyes. Love is not blind. Because God is love. And God is not blind.
“Don’t ignore red flags. Even when you say, or they said, “God said,” but you identify some traits very inconsistent with godly character, pray and check again.”
Late Osinachi Nwachuku died on Friday after spending days at an undisclosed hospital in Abuja. Colleagues of Osinachi, who was a lead singer at the Dunamis International Headquarters, Abuja, accused her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, of beating her.
