Governor Nyesom Wike, Ex-Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, are among top People’s Democratic Party chieftain that were conspicuously absent at a mega rally organized by the party for its governorship candidate in Osun state, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke
Others who were absent at the venue are the Governor of Abia state, Okezie Ikpeazu, Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde.
It can be recalled that the Party has been embroiled in a crisis ever since the emergence of Ifeanyi Okowa as the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Party.

This didn’t go down well with the Governor of Benue state Samuel Ortom, who quickly voiced out his disappointment with the development and called on the party to reach out to Wike.
Last week, three APC governors alongside Fayose visited Wike in Port Harcourt to woo him over to the ruling party and going by the events of today, it seems the crisis in the opposition party is far from getting resolved.
Speaking on the matter, Chieftain of the PDP who pleaded anonymity said: “The party is not handling the Wike situation well and he may well be on his way out”.
“Fayose on the other hand may have already left the party because he is no longer participating/contributing to the party’s activities”.
