Deputy Governor Kingsley Otuaro of Delta State in a birthday memoir intuited on his determination to collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure Delta experiences a fresh breath of development after the 2023 governorship election. he asserted this as his mission in the 2023 governorship race in Delta State, while making a commemoration of his birthday anniversary this year. He gave a rendition of his social life that brought him to where he is today, with insightful contents.

Deputy Governor Otuaro took to his facebook page where he wrote: “Birthdays are not ordinary days. They are the synopsis of the nine-month journey of an expectant mother and the watershed of her travails. It is also the birth of a mission.

“I have walked the path of this profound statement for almost all my life. It is my daily anthem to call me to purpose and in the last few years, it has even become stronger to see how my little actions continue to inspire people both old and young especially rethinking leadership and the future of our dear State, Delta. Indeed, courage is contagious.

“From a young and passionate law graduate to a defining community leader (2000-2006).

“From transformational community leadership to answering the State call: two times consequently served as a Special Peace Envoy to two successive administrations. 16 solid years of building frontiers of peace, reconstructing communities, providing leverage for socially, geographically, and economically disadvantaged communities, and reuniting people (2007-2014).

“From a sterling career in peace building and development works to the memoir of a dependable lieutenant and architect of the Smart and Stronger Delta helipad for peace and prosperity (2014-present).

“With over two decades of immersion in public service and effective governance with an approach that captures the least in the pyramid and impacts cutting across the community, state, and national. I can boldly and comfortably quote the words of American author, Marianne Williamson. In her words “our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously permit other people to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

The deputy governor acknowledged the activities of his supporters, loyalists and other stakeholders who have shown interest and have been reaching out to him on his governorship ambition in Delta State. He had maintained that Marianne Williamson is unapologetically correct, stating: “my recent actions to Advance Delta as I formally join Delta’s 2023 Governorship race tells me so.

“As a follow-up to my declaration, several others have taken the path of not playing small with their dreams and most especially I am encouraged by the number of young people that are finding their way to seek leadership in the coming elections. This in most cases is amidst the conventions and dissenting voices of ethnic and political sentiments against the reality of our collective future.

“I am excited at the level of support and the calls I have received from home and abroad and delegates that have shown irrepressible support to see Delta experience a fresh breath of development. The incredible lessons during these few months have shown that renaissance is possible and we can realize the Delta of our dreams in our lifetime.”

He, thereafter, expressed good wishes to self on his birthday anniversary this year.

“Happy birthday to me. It is 44 days to our songs of victory. To all delegates, party faithful, and Apostles of the industrialization mandate spread the message and spread love. Let’s commit ourselves to the Delta of our dreams. The possibilities we seek are closer than we think,” Otuaro summed up.
