Founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, has delivered a wide-ranging message condemning global injustice, political manipulation and poverty, while urging Christians to exercise spiritual authority and prepare for the forthcoming Healing Streams programme, during the Global Communion Service held on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
Speaking after a video presentation that highlighted the plight of displaced persons, Reverend Oyakhilome lamented the prolonged suffering of refugees around the world, citing the case of a young girl who has lived in a refugee camp for 11 years.
He blamed global institutions, including the United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organization (WHO), for policies he described as oppressive and destabilising, arguing that their actions have contributed significantly to conflicts and humanitarian crises across nations.
The cleric alleged that global powers, including leaders of the European Union and NATO, fuel wars by supporting and arming terrorist groups, while publicly attributing instability to local political and ethnic factors. He described poverty as “man-made,” insisting that many nations, particularly in Africa, fared better historically before the intervention of foreign powers and economic manipulators.
Reverend Oyakhilome also criticised what he termed “philanthrocapitalism,” singling out foreign billionaires who, he said, pursue personal and corporate interests under the guise of humanitarian support.
He stressed that with education, enlightenment and the gospel of Jesus Christ, African nations could thrive without external interference aimed at population control, which he described as a euphemism for mass harm.
Addressing Christians aspiring to political office, Oyakhilome urged them to act differently from the existing order, warning against maintaining the status quo. He said God’s support would rest on leaders who pursue justice, righteousness and godly principles.
During the service, he announced the upcoming Healing Streams Live Healing Services scheduled for Friday, March 13 to Sunday, March 15, 2026, encouraging members to reach as many people as possible with the message of healing and hope.
He emphasised that there are different kinds of divine grace, distributed according to God’s calling and purpose for individuals and ministries.
Drawing from biblical texts including Acts chapters 5, 8 and 19, Reverend Oyakhilome explained the concept of diverse spiritual graces, citing examples of the apostles Peter, Philip and Paul, each of whom operated in distinct manifestations of divine power.
He highlighted the extraordinary grace of Apostle Peter, whose shadow brought healing, and Apostle Paul, through whom miracles occurred via material items.

He further linked these scriptural examples to his own global broadcasting ministry, describing it as a special grace given by God to reach nations through modern technology. He noted that broadcasting itself operates through light, likening it to the biblical principle of power transmitted through divine illumination.
Reverend Oyakhilome reaffirmed numerous testimonies associated with LoveWorld materials, stating that healings, deliverance and miracles continue to occur worldwide through faith and the power of God.
He also declared February as “The Month of the Throne Room,” explaining that believers are called to operate from a position of spiritual authority derived from Christ’s exaltation. Referencing Ephesians 1:15–21 and Romans 5:17, he taught that Christians are meant to “reign in life” through the use of Christ’s name, emphasising the authority of spoken words.
According to him, believers are expected to respect governing authorities but must resist any law or policy that opposes the gospel or the Church.
He concluded by reminding congregants that while earthly empires rise and fall, the authority of Jesus Christ remains eternal, urging Christians to boldly exercise their God-given authority to effect change in their world.
