Ahead of the December 2023, governorship election in Kogi State, leaders and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) met on Wednesday in Abuja to strategise for the 2023 election and takeover Kogi State from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The retreat convened by the Kogi PDP Renaissance was attended by the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, and former Minister of Information, Professor Jerry Gana, among other political bigwigs.
Professor Gana, in his remark, expressed the determination of party leaders to oil the right machinery to ensure the victory of the PDP in the 2023 elections, decrying the sorry state of the country as unfortunate.
