The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, engaging Nigerians resident in Canada at a town hall meeting in Toronto, before moving to the United States, declared that the LP government has zero-tolerance for corruption in Nigeria.
He said that Nigerians in Diaspora have the capacity to determine who leads Nigeria, and, therefore, must have a commensurate voice. He promised that the Nigeria Diaspora should be able to vote in the 2027 general elections.
