The outgoing Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday conferred on President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima the national honours of Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic, GCFR, and Grand Commander of Order of the Niger, GCON, respectively.
Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress ( APC), was declared winner at the February 2023 presidential election by the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the middle of the night.
