Several stakeholders in the Nigerian project have warned Nigerians against voting for any candidate involved in missing certificate scandal, or whose can not justify his or her educational qualifications.

The stakeholders, accordingly, commenced early warning to voters in the country to avoid repetition of the leadership deficit of the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015 which is also playing out in the APC candidate for 2023 presidential election, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. The stakeholders warned Nigerians not to repeat the mistake of 2015 in 2023, citing the leadership credentials of presidents and head of government in some European countries, including the U.S.

The stakeholders also made a comparative highlight of exchange rate of some countries to the Nigerian currency, lamenting that the Nigerian naira is fast becoming the weakest currency in Africa.

The stakeholders emphatically recalled the certificate scandal of the APC presidential candidate in 2015, and 2019, and the subsequent failure of governance over the years, alerting Nigerian voters that same certificate scandal has resurfaced with the APC presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election, cautioning that Nigerians must avoid mistakes of the past.
