Prince Idris Balogun celebrates birthday, says helping the needy a life call

Crown Prince Idris Balogun, one of the aspirants for Alimosho  Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives come 2023 general elections, the ‘Oluomo Kafata’ of Isheri Olofin Kingdom’s has restated his resolve to keep helping the less privileged in the society, describing that as the real essence of life.
Prince Idris made the resolve while celebrating his birthday on Wednesday 1st December 2021 at the Divine Emporium event place in Lagos.
“Given my pedigree I have always loved giving back to the people and I am most grateful to God for sparing my life to see this day.
“It is quite a joyful day for me seeing friends, well wishers, the high and mighty in the society thronged this event place to celebrate me, makes me extremely glad. It is in fact the happiest day of my life.
“Philanthropy is my symbol and I will not rest on my oars till Alimosho federal constituency is truly liberated. I urge many of our people who are well to do to help others, that for me is the true essence of life.
“My earnest wish God willing is to sustain the pace of transformational efforts across the constituency, though I belong to a royal family I will continue to identify with the less privileged because that in itself make the world go round.
“I cannot feel less concerned about the indigents, that informs my empowerment interventions; school buses for our wards and several other welfarist scheme we shall unfold soon.” Prince Idris said.
The birthday celebration which exemplifies his clout as an Awori Blue blood had in attendance many known stars in the music world both old and young, like Alhaji Kollington Ayinla (Kebe Kwara), Alhaji Saoti Arewa, Alhaji Sule Alao Malaika (Mandiba),Alhaji Sule Adio (Atawewe) and Alexander Abolore Adegbola Akande (9ice) , star actresses, his political and business associates, as well as the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Chairman in Lagos, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya and others.
The resplendent event featured a royal entry of the celebrant, who in his humble but sociable mien was welcomed with a standing ovation by all gathered in the spacious and conducive venue.
Oluomo Kafata as he is fondly called by his numerous admirers after cutting his birthday cakes flanked by kings and notable individuals, who made event thick, took to the dance floor as the music played on and on courtesy all the music artists present.
Sule Alao Malaika while eulogizing Prince Balogun for his large heartedness towards the music industry, notes that this informs why they all rally round him to give him a grand birthday party.
“Our presence here today only affirms what you mean to us, you are a kind hearted man “. Said Sule Alao.
One of his associates Alhaji Abiodun Ishola Ejigbadero, notes the celebrant remains a promoter of good qualities of life and this has drawn to him many people in the society.
“Oluomo Kafata is a good person, he is my friend and brother, a political ally. He is a good and humble person, a sociable personality with whom I shared so many parts without rift.
“He is an important personality, merciful and kind hearted, he helps the poor and needy he is a good person. I pray that he celebrates many more years on earth.
Mr. Akinola Idowu Bashiru a board member National Bureau of Statistics, who represents Southwest Nigeria on the board was full of accolades for the celebrant, mirroring his stylish manner of touching lives.
“Prince Idris Balogun is indeed a wonderful personality, in my congratulatory message to him I said we are celebrating a prince who has made royalty to confluence with philanthropy and by that I mean here is a man, who is blue blooded who should have been a bourgeois but has chosen to relate with proletarian.
“He is a gentleman who has touched so many lives and currently he has extended his philanthropy towards the development of education and of course the children, it is on record that Oluomo has provided buses that conveys both public and private students to and fro their destination and also on record that he has provided caterpillars to help grade roads in the area.
“Apart from that he has also done a lot of empowerment. He is a prince who has left all the paraphernalia of the office to identify with the people at the grassroots.
“He is a fantastic guy who has chosen a path and I think he is doing that methodically, he is doing well, he should up the ante.” Akin Bashiru said.
An Islamic Cleric, Ahmad Olanrewaju Alfilani who runs a TV show especially during Ramadan tagged , ‘Sebilu Najat ‘ notes that Oluomo’s large heart knows no bounds as he is one of the major supporters of the said programme in cash and kind.
He urged other well meaning individuals in the society to toe his line as that is an highly rewarding venture both spiritual and physical.
“The prophet Mohammad (SAW),said God will be helpful to those helping others, he gives to others and that informs his blessings.
“I urge him to continue in this stead, it insures your tomorrow, don’t wait for peoples praise, you shall always be divinely replenished. I pray that God meet him at the point of need at all times and grant his heart desires.”
Many individuals also took time to give account and testimony  of Oluomo’s goodness, some who got a new car, cash grant, landed property  and more all as gift could not hide their feelings as the took turns to put on record.
The party was all fun as many felt quite at home dancing, eating listening to good music.
