Promising singer, Nazarene, urges established artists to assist budding talents

A budding artist, Godwin Amuh, on Friday called on all successful artistes in the country’s music industry to put aside jealousy, envy and the fear of being outmatched to assist up-and-coming ones.
Amuh, popularly known as Nazarene ,said that it was regrettable that some artistes, who had made their marks in the country’s music industry, were not disposed to assisting the younger ones.
Nazarene, who is a singer, a rapper, and a songwriter, recently released the video for his song, ‘I Position’ which is currently rocking the airwaves.
Nazarene stressed that if the young ones were not mentored and assisted, the future of the industry would be in danger and that the Nigerian music scene may no longer be relevant.
Nazarene had recently signed on to Captain of the Ship Entertainment, other accomplished musicians and other business moguls who are investing in young talents to boost the entertainment industry.
“We need to invest in the young talents and transform them into entertainment stars for the whole world, ” he said.
The artiste whose debut was titled ‘No Dread No Tatt’, promised to build and sustain his fans by constantly producing quality and irresistible music contents.
He said that he would positively impact the Nigerian youths with his lyrics, meaningful music contents and also compose songs that would make positive impact on the society.
According to him, “People love and appreciate the Nigerian music everywhere in the world today; our artistes are respected in Africa, Asia, Europe and America, ” he said.
Nazarene gained recognition as a singer with the release of his single, ‘Caro’, in 2018.
He followed it up with other singles such as : ‘Vacation’ featuring Boibee in 2018; ‘Double G’, also in 2018, ‘Motivated’ in 2019; and ‘Latifa’ featuring Slizeboyability in 2019.
