A former aide to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bashir Ahmad has caused a stir on social media after he made some very bold claims that has not been well received by many Nigerians.
Bashir who lost his bid to secure the ticket of All Progressive Congress, APC to contest for the House of Representative seat representing Ajingi, Albasu, Gaya Federal Constituency in the 2023 election is one of the most unpopular personalities on the social media platform, TwitterNG due to his constant and passionate support for the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.
This night, he took to his official twitter account to claim that Nigeria has come a long way and nothing can stop this great country from reaching it’s intended destination.
In his words;
“We have come a long way and nothing can stop this great house from reaching its intended destination.”Minutes before posting this tweet, Bashir had already posted a picture of President Buhari, with a Hausa caption which translates to “the owner of our house” in English.
Reacting to his claim, twitter users were not impressed and they made their opinions known as they expressed themselves in the comment section of the tweet.
