Reactions have begun trailing a viral video showing the moment a large cache of ammunition were uncovered in the Ikorodu axis of Lagos State.
National Daily reports that on Saturday, September 24, 2022, reports filtered into the media space indicating that two buses loaded with a stockpile of ammunition and dismantled motorcycles were intercepted by police operatives at a scrapyard at Poropmope Estate, Ijede Road axis in Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos. It was gathered that the vehicles were being loaded with ammunition by three men at the scrapyard when they were busted by security agents.
Suspects arrested include Tukur Abdullahi (35), Muazu Telim (50), and Dahiru Idris (50).
Quite interestingly, the footage showing the contents of the vehicles, which was shared on the Facebook page of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Lere Olayinka has led to a flurry of reactions from Nigerians online.

While some persons expressed shock at the sheer amount of ammunition discovered in the vehicles, others, however, called for increased vigilance in the Southwest region of the country.
