National Daily learnt that Julian Nagelsmann was informed of the decision to terminate his appointment with Bayern on Thursday with Bundesliga champion chiefs moving swiftly to replace him with former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.
Meanwhile, National Daily previously gathered that Tuchel was being considered by Tottenham as an option to replace Antonio Conte ahead of his likely sack.
However, National Daily learnt from the claim by Sky Germany, that Bayern chiefs have grown concerned at the way in which the club have surrendered their domestic dominance this season given they won the title last term by eight point and 13 points the previous year.
Moreover, the lack of progress made by the club’s young players, including the likes of Jamal Musiala, has caused alarm while Sadio Mane’s struggles since his high-profile move from Liverpool has been attributed to Nagelsmann’s management style.
With Bayern facing a such a decisive period, the final straw came when the former Hoffenheim coach opted to take a skiing holiday during the current international break, rather than remain at the club and work on a strategy that would see the club through such a testing period.
