Emeka Akamefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez has been recognized as a Hip-Hop innovator in Rolling Stone’s prestigious list of 50 Hip-Hop artistes shaping the genre.
Starting off as a caustic rapper who doesn’t shy away from a face-off, Blaqbonez went on and signed for Chocolate City and rose to mainstream success by inexorable releases of his works and marketing his craft.

His inclusion in Rolling Stone’s list is assertive to his exceptional talent, hardwork, and significant contributions to both the Nigerian and African Hip-Hop.
Blaqbonez has not only promoted himself but also Nigerian Hip-Hop as he adopts several other genres to add enthusiasm to hip hop.
