See who is attending Coaches Forum for the first time

The first time that the Blaugrana coach has attended this annual meeting, held at the headquarters of the organisation in Nyon (Switzerland)FC Barcelona’s first team coach, Ernesto Valverde, participated in the UEFA Coaches Forum for the first time this Wednesday. It was the 19th such annual meeting and was held at the organisation’s headquarters in Nyon (Switzerland). Different issues were discussed regarding actual playing time, the behaviour of players and coaches, simulation with regards to earning penalties as well as other aspects surrounding the game and the world of football in general.

The meeting was chaired by Sir Alex Ferguson, UEFA’s Coaching Ambassador, and was attended by Rafael Benitez (Newcastle FC), Eduardo Berizzo (Seville FC), Sergio Conceiçao (FC Porto), Unai Emery (Paris Saint Germain), Leonardo Jardim (AS Monaco FC), José Mourinho (Manchester United), Louis Van Gaal, Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid), Rui Vitoria (SL Benfica) and finally Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus FC), whom Valverde will come up against on September 12 in the first 2017/18 Champions League group stage match at the Camp Nou.
The Forum will end with a dinner at the Villa Falaise, next to UEFA’s headquarters.
