Senator Natasha hosts British Deputy High Commissioner, others

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, at her residence Abuja, hosted the British Deputy High Commissioner, Gill Lever, and other officials of the British High Commission.

The Senator and her visitors deliberated on a bill on women inclusion in politics to assist strengthen the women’s participation in politics in Nigeria and to create a friendly environment to encourage more women in politics.

Senator Natasha highlighted her achievements since assumption of office, which include employment creation, skill acquisitions, community development, amongst others.

The British Deputy High Commissioner, Gill Lever, commended the female Senator’s courage in making a mark in Nigerian politics.

Other officials of the British High Commission at the meeting included, Acting Political Counsellor/Head of Political Section, Natalie Palmer, and ⁠Senior Political Advisor, Damilola Oyedele.
