Liverpool manager Arne Slot has expressed delight at having stars such as Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold still in the fold.
The trio’s contracts are winding down with speculation linking them with clubs abroad, especially in the Saudi Arabian league.
Slot who took over from Jurgen Klopp and admitted that the shoes left by the German are a massive one to fill, was asked about the key players and much more on Friday.
On the contract situation with his players, the Dutchman said: “I’m very happy that these players are in my team at the moment.
There’s a lot of games this season and in the upcoming weeks, let’s see what happens in the future.
Slot on his range of attacking options available stated: “For me, it says two things.
The players have a lot of quality and the team is always creating chances for the players that are selected for that game.

“Because we have so much quality, we can create assists or goals.”
On facing Wolves this weekend, Slot believes the team can bounce back from their sloppy start to the season.
“I’ve watched some of their games, they should’ve got more than they got.
They will be fine at the end of the season.”
Slot was in charge of the Dutch side, Feyeonord, until the summer when he replaced Klopp.
