Over 1,000 Christian leaders at a forum of Southern Kaduna Pastors’ Congress had consultations with governorship candidates of political parties in Kaduna State, where they deliberated on the campaign manifestoes of the candidates.
National Daily gathered that Southern Kaduna Pastors’ Congress which held in Kafanchan, Jema’a Local Government Area, was attended by the governorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Uba Sani; the Labour Party (LP), Jonathan Asake; New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Suleiman Hunkuyi; Action Alliance (AA), Timothy Adamu; and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Andrew Duya.
Participants deliberated on insecurity, economy, and unity of Kaduna State.
The convener, Emmanuel Kure, emphasized that the meeting was for the candidates to tell the people of the state through the forum what they have for them as they set out for campaigns for the 2023 elections from September 28.
The governorship candidates had used the occasion to unveil their policies for the state, essentially, what they plan for Southern Kaduna.
The Southern Kaduna Pastors Congress also relayed the plight of residents of the zone and their expectations in the governing of the state.
