In a bold move to democratize access to real estate, SpreadHomes Properties Limited has unveiled its flagship initiative, “Land Ownership Made Easy,” a scheme designed to enable everyday Nigerians—including low-income earners—to own land through affordable and flexible payment plans.
Speaking in a recent interview, Mrs. Austin-Chris Nkechinyere, Chief Executive Officer of SpreadHomes, emphasized that the initiative targets individuals often excluded from traditional land acquisition due to financial limitations.
“We created the ‘Land Ownership Made Easy’ scheme to show that everyone—whether a market trader, teacher, or civil servant—deserves a shot at owning land,” she stated. “This is more than real estate; it’s about empowerment.”
The payment options under the initiative are structured to accommodate a variety of income levels: ₦2,750 daily; ₦19,270 weekly; ₦85,250 monthly
Mrs. Nkechinyere noted that the model is designed to eliminate common barriers such as lump-sum payments and complex documentation, replacing them with flexibility, transparency, and affordability.
Beyond just land sales, SpreadHomes is on a mission to bridge Nigeria’s housing gap by developing modern, value-driven residential estates. The company plans to expand across all 36 states of Nigeria and eventually enter international markets.
“Our goal is to deliver estates that families can proudly call home—developments that offer quality infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and excellent customer service,” she said.

What set SpreadHomes apart, Mrs. Nkechinyere added, are three key pillars: Innovative Payment Structures; Affordable Land Packages; Strong Ethical Values rooted in accountability and transparency.
“Our clients are not just numbers to us—they’re partners in a shared vision,” she affirmed. “We are building more than homes; we’re building trust and opportunity.
Mrs. Nkechinyere’s journey into real estate began in 2018, when she joined a reputable firm as a sales representative. Leveraging her B.Sc. in Marketing from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, she quickly rose through the ranks by connecting deeply with clients and driving impressive sales performance.
In 2023, she co-founded SpreadHomes Properties Limited with her husband, Mr. Austin-Chris Chinonso, fusing strategic acumen with a shared passion for people and purpose.
“By the grace of God, we’ve hit significant milestones in a short time,” she reflected. “And we’re just getting started.”
With a growing reputation for integrity and innovation, SpreadHomes is positioning itself as a transformational force in Nigeria’s real estate landscape—where land ownership is no longer a luxury, but a realistic goal for all.
