The State House has listed major road projects of President Bola Tinubu in the first one year in office.
It was highlighted that at the commissioning of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Superhighway on Sunday, President Tinubu also unfurled his other bold road programmes.
These include: work will soon start from the Calabar end off the Lagos-Calabar Superhighway. Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, had said the designs have been done and the procurement will follow.
According to the State House report, also on is the design and procurement for the 1,000km Sokoto-Badagry Highway, which is expected to connect Sokoto to Badagry in Lagos State, passing through Kebbi, Niger, Kwara, and Oyo States.
President Tinubu had virtually flagged off the design and procurement for the 461km Enugu-Abakaliki-Ogoja Road, which will traverse Benue, Kogi, and Nasarawa States, terminating at Apo in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
President Tinubu had also performed the virtual flag-off of the reconstruction and rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges across the six geo-political zones of the country.
President Tinubu formally commissioned the Apapa-Oworonsoki concrete road, financed by Dangote Industries and built by Hitech in Lagos last Sunday.
The President also commissioned the refurbished Third Mainland Bridge, completed by General Ibrahim Babangida in 1990.
