Recall that ASUU proceeded on a one month warning strike on 14th February over the alleged inability of the Federal Government to meet up with their demands and has been extending the strike up till date.
Despite the presence of security men deployed by the government along the corridor, the students stormed the airport carrying placards with various inscriptions.
The road leading to the airport has been blocked by the students who are seen with various placards calling on the federal government and the striking union to call off the lingering strike.
Motorists were turned back as the students blocked the road leading into the airport.
