Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been drawn in Group B for the 2024 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where they will face Tunisia, Algeria, and Botswana.
The team will aim to secure another strong performance after their recent successes at the continental tournament.
The WAFCON 2024, set to take place from 5 to 26 July 2025 in Morocco, will feature 12 teams competing for the prestigious title.
Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been drawn into Group B of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where they will face Tunisia, Algeria, and Botswana.
The tournament, set to commence in July 2025 in Morocco, presents another opportunity for Nigera’s senior women national team to assert their dominance on the continent as they chase a record-extending 10th title.

As hosts, Morocco will lead Group A, which features Zambia, Senegal, and DR Congo.
Meanwhile, defending champions South Africa have been placed in Group C, alongside Ghana, Mali, and Tanzania.
The competition, which will showcase the talent and passion of Africa’s top women footballers, is scheduled to conclude on July 26, 2025.
