Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, has leveled serious allegations against President Bola Tinubu, claiming he is orchestrating a scheme to remove Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State from office.
In a statement released in Abuja, Frank condemned a recent controversial ruling by a Federal High Court that seized the state’s monthly allocations, describing it as a tactic to either coerce Fubara into joining the APC or to facilitate his removal.
“This court decision is a script written by the President in his bid to control Fubara,” Frank stated, highlighting the perceived constitutional violations occurring in Rivers State.
He further accused the President of being angry over Fubara’s refusal to join the APC, alleging that Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike is acting as a proxy in this conflict.
Frank warned that security agencies have been directed to undermine Fubara, claiming, “This is why Justice Joyce Abdulmalik can issue unconstitutional orders without fear of consequences.”

He cautioned President Tinubu to stay away from Rivers State, asserting that any attempt to interfere with the state’s funds or remove Fubara would face strong resistance from the people of Rivers and the Niger Delta region.
Frank called on the international community to intervene, stressing that peace is essential for the operations of International Oil Companies (IOCs) in the Niger Delta.
He described the court ruling as a serious affront to democracy and urged citizens to resist it.
He concluded by holding Tinubu accountable for any harm that might come to Fubara or the people of Rivers State.
