President Bola Tinubu at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Monday, reiterated his absolute confidence in his Chief of Staff, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, in the storm of allegation of selling federal appointments in his administration.
President Tinubu cautioned that “all malicious assumptions and run-outs should stop.”
The Ministers and other cabinet members, thereafter, gave Gbajabiamila a standing ovation.
Some loyalists of the President had raised alarm that the Chief Of Staff, Gbajabiamila, is allegedly selling appointments to highest bidders, as President Tinubu continued to form his government after the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

The allegation was principally related to appointment of heads of federal agencies, directors generals, managing directors, executive chairmen, among others, of MDAs.
The loyalists of the President had demanded for immediate sack of the Chief of Staff.
President Tinubu, however, turned down their demand, ignored their allegation, and renewed his confidence in his Chief of Staff, Gbajabiamila.
