Nollywood actor and model Tobi Bakre has highlighted the importance of professionalism for aspiring actors in the entertainment industry. Speaking on the Menisms podcast, Bakre stressed that approaching every task with dedication and seriousness can open doors to bigger opportunities.
He noted that life-changing breaks often come from how individuals handle even the smallest roles. “To our colleagues out there, especially the younger ones… it doesn’t matter what you are doing, just do it well. You don’t know who is watching,” Bakre said.

The actor added that diligence and commitment in small tasks can signal readiness for greater responsibilities. “There are opportunities I will give to someone who I know washes cars, but I see the diligence, seriousness, and commitment in how they do it. I could put them in charge of a company once I see how they handle even that little thing,” he explained.
