To have a robust police presence in all the nooks and crannies of Niger state, the Emir of Kutigi, Alhaji Husseini Wuchi, has called on the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to build more police stations in their domain.
This appeal was made on Tuesday when a retinue of traditional rulers from Lavun Local Government in Niger State paid a courtesy call on IGP at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Alhaji Wuchi explained that their visit was to congratulate the new IGP, show their solidarity and support him in his quest to succeed in his new appointment.

They expressed confidence in his leadership qualities which they believe would take Nigeria Police force to an enviable height. In addition, he suggested that more Police Stations be built in Kutigi to improve the Police presence in the community.
In his response, the IGP thanked the Royal Fathers for coming and expressed profound gratitude, promising to look into their request.
