A devastating bus accident in India‘s northern state of Uttarakhand Marchula has resulted in the deaths of more than 22 individuals, with around two dozen others injured, some critically.
The incident occurred on Monday morning in the Marchula area of Almora district.
According to local police, the private bus was transporting passengers from Podhi to Ramnagar when it veered off course and fell into a deep gorge around 8:30 a.m.
The victims of the tragedy are reported to be local residents, and rescue teams have been dispatched to the scene to assist with recovery efforts.

Police are currently working to identify the deceased, while the injured have been rushed to a nearby government hospital for treatment.
Marchula, known for its picturesque landscapes, is a popular tourist destination in the hilly region of Uttarakhand.
