The panel also struck out some other paragraphs where the petitioners alleged irregularities and fraud in the election.

Justice Ugo said the former Vice President Atiku and his party’s petitions were filed with generic allegations and faulted them for failing to list polling units where election malpractices happened.

The tribunal in part its ruling struck out some paragraphs claiming that President Bola Tinubu was not qualified to participate in the February 25, 2023 election.

The court held that the petitioners who are contesting the qualification of Tinubu in their petition, failed to provide the required qualifications.

Also, the court further struck out some parts where the petitioners accused Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and one Friday Adejo (described as a Local Government Chairman in Kogi State), but failed to join them as parties to the petition.
