Former United States President, Donald Trump, has claimed that Iran has apologised to its neighbours in the Middle East and pledged to halt hostile actions against them following what he described as sustained military pressure from the United States and Israel.

Trump made the assertion in a post on the social media platform Truth Social on Saturday, where he argued that Iran had been forced into submission after coordinated pressure from Washington and its regional allies.

“Iran, which is being beat to HELL, has apologized and surrendered to its Middle East neighbors, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore,” Trump wrote.

According to the former US leader, the alleged concession from Iran came only after what he described as relentless attacks carried out by the United States and Israel.

“This promise was only made because of the relentless U.S. and Israeli attack. They were looking to take over and rule the Middle East. It is the first time that Iran has ever lost, in thousands of years, to surrounding Middle Eastern Countries,” he stated.

Trump further claimed that leaders across the Middle East had reached out to express appreciation for the development, which he portrayed as a major geopolitical shift in the region.

“They have said, ‘Thank you President Trump.’ I have said, ‘You’re welcome!’ Iran is no longer the ‘Bully of the Middle East,’ they are, instead, ‘THE LOSER OF THE MIDDLE EAST,’ and will be for many decades until they surrender or, more likely, completely collapse!” he added.

The former president also issued a stark warning that Iran could face more severe military action if tensions escalate further.

“Today, Iran will be hit very hard! Under serious consideration for complete destruction and certain death, because of Iran’s bad behavior, are areas and groups of people that were not considered for targeting up until this moment in time,” Trump wrote, suggesting that additional strikes could be launched if Tehran continues actions perceived as destabilising in the region.

Trump’s remarks come amid ongoing geopolitical tensions involving Iran and several Middle Eastern countries, as well as heightened security concerns linked to regional rivalries and military activity.

However, as of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from the Iranian government regarding the claims made by the former US president.
