Bantamweight boxer, Arabambi ‘Power’ Ojo has taken up the challenge to fight Tunde ‘Turning Star’ Olojede at Boxing Night 29.This was contained in a statement issued on by Flykite Productions, organizers of the premier boxing event.
Turning Star was billed to fight the late Habeeb ‘Ige’ Oladeji, who died earlier this month.
According to the statement, Power will now face Turning Star in a national bantamweight challenge bout at Molade Okoya-Thomas Indoor Sports Hall of Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos on September 24, National Daily Newspaper gathered.
“Arabambi ‘Power’ Ojo will face Tunde ‘Turning Star’ Olojede in a national bantamweight challenge bout at GOtv Boxing Night 29. The fans will find him exciting because of his explosive style,” the statement said.
Flykite Productions had earlier announced a decision to donate 35 percent of ticket proceeds at the Boxing Night 29 to the family of the late Ige.

Other bouts scheduled for the night include a welterweight national challenge bout between Taiwo ‘Gentle Boy’ Olowu and Ganiyu ‘Energy’ Kolawole; a national lightweight challenge clash between Azeez ‘Latest’ Ayobami and Emmanuel ‘Ability’ Abimbola; and a national female cruiserweight title bout between Celina ‘Pretty Assassin’ Agwu and Bolatito ‘Black Tito’ Oluwole. Sodiq ‘Happy Boy’ Adeleke will also face Ibrahim ‘Golden Boy’ Opeyemi, while Sifon ‘Best’ Iwatt will face Yusuf ‘Omowest’ Mohammed in a super flyweight challenge bout.
GOtv Boxing Night will broadcast live on SuperSport Variety 4 (DStv ch 209) and SuperSport Select 2(GOtv ch 64 Channel) National Daily Newspaper gathered.
