There were panics at the England football camp following skipper Harry Kane’s fitness challenge after the 29-year-old went down under a heavy challenge from Morteza Pouraliganji during the 6-2 win over Iran on Monday.
Though the Tottenham striker had not gone straight off after the incident, but he was eventually replaced by Callum Wilson after 76 minutes.
Expectedly, there were fears and Kane was sent for a scan, but it appears that all is well.
Interestingly, the striker is back in training and will be fine after suffering a minor ankle injury, says England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Speaking on Wednesday, the Everton goalie maintained: ‘He’s good, he took a bit of a knock but he’ll be fine. He was out on the grass training today.’
