Olaolu Mudashiru, a co-founder and deputy managing director of one of Nigeria’s top capital management companies, Vetiva Capital, has passed on.
The businessman/investment banker was reportedly riding a bicycle with a group of cyclists when a car plowed into their bikes on Gerrard Road in the affluent neighborhood of Ikoyi, Lagos, and sped off, leaving them with very serious injuries.
It is reported that Mr Mudashiru and the other two bikers were taken by ambulance to the Lagoon Hospital on Bourdillon Road in Ikoyi, where Mudashiru later passed away from head injuries.
Mr Mudashiru earned his medical degree from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and his MBA from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. He was the late Air Commodore Gbolahan Mudashiru’s son, a former military official in charge of Lagos State.
