National Daily gathered that Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle had reportedly requested for an ‘apology’ from the Royal Family ahead of King Charles’ coronation.

It was reported that the couple want the Royal Family to ‘apologies’ to them before the coronation.

According to a well-placed source which revealed to The Times that the Sussexes want the firm to take responsibility for the ‘hurt and damage’ the couple have suffered.

Harry is hoping to ‘sit down’ with senior royals before his father’s coronation in May next year,’ the insider added.

Harry and Meghan want the face-to-face meeting to discuss the raft of rattling claims they raised in their Netflix docu-series, Harry & Meghan

National Daily gathered from the source which claimed the couple was left burnt after Lady Susan Hussey extended an olive branch to Ngozi Fulani after she pressed the charity boss about which country she was ‘from’.

Buckingham Palace said Friday that Hussey had apologised to Fulani in person and pledged to ‘deepen her awareness of the sensitivities involved’.

Harry and Meghan have been left wondering, the source claimed, where this peace offer was for them.

The source also suggested they were upset about the royal institution’s lack of response to their Netflix series.

Both Buckingham and Kensington Palace have refused to comment following the release of both halves of Harry & Meghan.

The source said: ‘Nothing like that was ever done when Harry and Meghan raised various concerns – no meeting, formal apology or taking responsibility or accountability.

‘That is hard to swallow — 100% yes they’d like to have a meeting.’

In Harry & Meghan, Harry said he will have to ‘to make peace with the fact we’re probably never going to get genuine accountability or a genuine apology’ from his family.

‘If they want to get in touch with the King,’ the source added, ‘they know where he lives.’

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have long been open about the racism Meghan has endured – especially from the tabloids – and their Netflix docu-series was no exception.

Meghan recalled the moment she landed in Canada from England in March 2020 hours after finishing her and Harry’s last official event as working members of the Royal Family.

‘I tried so hard,’ she said she told a security guard, ‘that’s the piece that’s so triggering.

‘Because you go, “it still wasn’t good enough and you still don’t fit in”.’
