The CEO of Zenrise Integrated Services, Miss Cynthia Audu has debunked the claim by some person(s) that her office situated at No 1 Olabisi Close, Mende, Maryland is being used as a cover for kidnapping activities by luring unsuspected job applicants.

Recall that a Whatsapp message recently went viral where a faceless victim claimed that she was invited for an interview by the company, and on getting there, she was asked to switch off her phone. “I applied for a job via Jiji on Monday, on Wednesday I was called for interview in Maryland. When I got to the lonely building in Mende, I saw two men, the looks on their faces was not funny,” the viral message said.

According to the message, the applicant was asked to switch off her phone and was being harassed by the men to enter the building but was saved by another guy who saw her wearing a Winners hand band, and thereafter advised her to go because of the suspicious nature of the arrangement.

Miss Audu debunked the claims, saying the message was the handiwork of her detractors who were hell bent on running her out of business. According to her, Zenrise Integrated Services is in to the distribution of neo-life products, human capacity training and personal life development.

“The building in question is not isolated or lonely. There are other offices in the building, and we have never had such a complain before. We have over ten associates that train youths in various human capacity development,” Cynthia explained.

She said when the news broke out, officers from the Nigeria Police Zone 2 invaded her office and arrested eight associates who were later released when she got there. “I was detained for two days and was later released after thorough investigations by the Police that the message was actually false, and nothing of such could have happened in such a place.”

She said nobody has come forward to either make any complain about the services of Zenrise or even the originator of the damaging Whatsapp message that has nearly crippled the company she labored hard to build.

Corroborating her story, Barrister Adeola Samuel Ilori, a human right activist said the allegation was completely baseless. “I also got the message, and even forwarded it to the authority for proper investigation,” he said.

According to Barrister Ilori, in the course of his own personal investigation, he realised that the message was a hoarse, designed to destroy the image and business of Miss Cynthia Audu.

“I thereafter took over the case with the intention of getting to the root of this matter. The Police must ensure that they fish out the sender of the message in other to completely exonerate Miss Audu who they detained for two days, Barrister Ilori said.

When contacted, the Zone 2 confirmed the allegation, adding that investigation is still on going to determine the source of the message.
