Aisha Yesufu reacts as lady claims APC and PDP lawmakers will frustrate Obi’s Presidency

Aisha Yesufu, a renowned human rights activist and co-convener of Bring Back Our Girls Campaign, has taken to her official Twitter handle to react after a Twitter user claimed that if Peter Obi wins the Presidential election in 2023, it might be difficult for him to govern the country with APC and PDP Lawmakers flooding the National Assembly

According to the Twitter User identified as Gracious_Isi, she stated that have anyone thought about the possibility of Peter Obi running a Government that has a larger percentage of APC and PDP as Lawmakers in the National Assembly? She made it known that it would be scary and his government might be frustrated because they might not cooperate with him.

Reacting to this, Aisha Yesufu said, “We are cherry-picking candidates. By the time we get competent people with character and capacity into office, they will be focused on what is good for Nigeria and that should unite them. As we go on we keep refining. We have to keep strategizing.”
