The group, comprising nine girls, two boys, and the driver of their vehicle, regained their freedom at approximately 3:00 PM on Sunday, following the payment of a ransom.
This positive outcome follows the earlier escape of two other boys who had also been abducted.
Upon their release, the rescued individuals were promptly taken to the BSU Teaching Hospital where they are currently undergoing comprehensive medical screening to assess their health status and provide any necessary care.
Eyewitnesses at the hospital reported scenes of emotional reunions as parents embraced their children, expressing immense gratitude for their safe return.
