Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has dismissed claims that she snubbed fuji star Pasuma during a recent event in Lagos.
The speculation arose after a viral video showed Pasuma attempting to get Akindele’s attention while she was engaged in conversation with another guest. In the clip, Akindele appeared focused on the interaction, prompting the singer to return to his seat, an action that sparked criticism online.

Some social media users suggested the incident was deliberate, linking it to alleged tensions involving Akindele and fellow actress Toyin Abraham.
Responding to the claims, Akindele firmly denied any wrongdoing, stating that she interacted warmly with Pasuma during the event. According to her, they greeted each other and even shared a dance.
“Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity, please. I saw him, greeted him, danced with him. Pasuma is my egbon. Please, you all should stop this evil,” she said.
